About Our StandardsOur photography happens in natural daylight, on a single model who represents a real size range. Colors are true to life. Shadows are real. If a dress has a slight texture variation due to the weave, we show it. What you see is what arrives.

Our size chart uses actual body measurements, not generic S/M/L guesswork. Each product page lists the model's measurements and the size she's wearing. We include both the garment measurements and recommended body measurements so you can make an informed choice.
If you're between sizes, our style notes on each product page will tell you whether the cut runs generous or close. We designed the notes specifically to answer the questions you'd ask a friend who already owns the dress.
Most pieces in our collection are hand-wash or gentle machine-wash. We include a care card with every order, but the short version is: cold water, gentle cycle, hang to dry. Avoid the dryer for natural fibers.
Linen softens with washing, which is part of the appeal. Cotton-modal blends hold their shape well. We note specific care instructions on every product page alongside the fabric composition.

Unworn items with tags attached can be returned within 21 days of delivery. Email us at info@softevestore.com with your order number and we'll send a prepaid return label within one business day.
